Dishwasher Problems - Waterwill not drain out

Hi,
Do the foll. things:
1)Check if there is water on the bottom pan. Remove the panel down on the backside of the machine and look. If it's water there, wipe it well up with a towel or so.
2)if ur dishwasher doesn't starts then:
First, check the usual suspects: Make sure the circuit breaker isn’t tripped and that the wires at dishwasher’s power junction box aren’t burnt. If all that checks out, then go right to the control panel area.
Asko dishwashers have had problems with the wiring in the control panel area burning or melting– very messy. While your problem may not be as dramatic as that, the problem may still be visible. You may find burnt or discolored wire terminals or the spades on the start button switch may be burnt– anything burnt or discolored has to be replaced. You can buy any replacement parts you need right here.
Goodluck,
Dont forget to rate me as fixya..

try pressing the cancel/drain button.Do you hear water draining into sink freely?? if not i would disconnect drain undersink look for a clog right there first
SOURCE: Dishwasher--water in bottom -end of cycle.
although hose is not clogged is it installed correctly?is there what they call a high loop installed under sink( loop up high as possible under sink to prevent both water siphoning out or returng back to machine after cycle complete. when you press the cancel button do you hear the water flowing freely into sink drain, if not sounds like you got somthin in hose or pump assy

Hi
Kindly check for the following :
Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose. Start at the drain port exit.
Check the check valve and drain hose for debris.
Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.
Check pump motor assembly for a drain solenoid, during the pump out make sure the solenoid makes that distinctive "clunk" noise
If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plug at connection.
Check pump impeller for damage.
Check that the water inlet valve isn't seeping fresh water into the dishwasher when off.
Please contact for any further clarifications.
A Fixya Rating would be appreciated if.
Thanks
Rylee

The emptying valve is probably partially blocked with a piece of debris or bone. It can be cleared manually usually if you can get at it with a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers.
