Complete drain must occur before spin. A no drain situation would be an actual full pool of water seen in the bottom of the machine if all the cloths were removed, sounds like you are experiencing a spin enable switch failure, which mainly prevents final high speed spin leaving the cloths dripping wet. The spin enable switch contacts become tarnished/corroded over time resulting in poor connection. If the door lock light comes on than your door lock wax motor is working. The spin enable switch is the last switch to the right in the door lock unit where the light bulb is. Part# is 22002162. If there is an actual pool of water in the bottom of the machine as if you simply removed the cloths from the unit but left the wash water, than you should look first look to your drain pump for failure, or obstruction of foreign objects, or excess lint in the pump. Often when the
clothing continues to be wet in a washer, it is because the unit cannot
properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be
clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be
experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or
control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any
one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional
to properly diagnose and repair the unit.
Sounds like the timer is screwed... Sending out the wrong signals and the dryer is doing the rinse cycle when it should just be the spin cycle. Do t know what your timer looks like in that washer but most now days look like the picture.
There could still be water in between the drums. Have a look at the filter, pump and all outlet pipes for a blockage. the excees water that you have when you have clothes in will be what's left in the clothes, wih the machine empty you may just be seeing what shows above the inner drum.
check the Lid safety switch, if its shorted the spin cycle won't work, so your left with wet clothes ,, you can jumper the 2 wires together to test the switch , if that makes the cycle work, Replace that switch
Please check the voltage on the drain pump/valve , if present and the pump is not working remove to clean, and reset. if there is no action you must replace the unit.
If there is no voltage in this cycle then it ispossible that the program controller is faulty, this must be checked out and corrected or changed.
The pump cannot completely drain all the water out of washers. There will be some water left in the bottom of the tub that you can't see but here slosh around if you move the basket. If your clothes are not wet, this is probably normal.
Mine will do this if clothes are left in it for a long period of time. The pump will not drain all water out because the will dry out the seals if they do. Your wet clothes dripped in the tub raising the water level to the bottom of the drum and that is why you have wet clothes. Remove clothes as soon as they are done, use cycle signal to avoid this.
