i have two panasonic TH-42PV8AZ
viera 42' plasma's one had the flashing red light ten times but i got angry with it and now it dont go. But the other powers up but has broken screen. Can i put boards in the one with good screen or swap screens,,,,help

The number of flashes is indicating a specific error. If you let me know how many times the light is blinking I will let you know whats most likliy causeing the issue. Reply to this same post for assistance.
I unpluged mine and the light was still blinking when it was unpluged. I thought that was weird. So I pluged it back in and just heald the power button in untill the light went out. It went out within ten seconds. I pushed the power button again and the tv went on. WOOHOO!!! Just needed reset, I guess.
Apparently this common problem is due to a faulty power board. Contact Panasonic for a replacement if it's under warranty (hopefully) or a local repair shop. Good luck!
