My cat walked on my RCA remote and changed settings. I have Direct TV and my screen only flashes Unusable Signal. I know a setting was changed - my Direct TV works upstairs. What are the settings to use for my remote so I can get a picture? Antenna/Cable, Input 1, 2, 3, 4? HDMI or Front? I believe it used to be Input 4. It just won't work now. Think you can help?

What is your TV input connection? Are you using Antenna? Cable? Dish?
The Unusable Signal sounds like the TV is not getting a signal. Does your TV have a built in HD Tuner?
If you are using Antenna you might want to try setting up the connections and it should search for quality channels that you get good signal strength. If you are on channel 2 and there is no over the air channel 2 it may say "unusable signal".
im having the same problem on my RCA P61960 61" i just moved and it might have got bumped a bit not sure but when i try to use my component video hook up i get a blurry distorted picture for a few seconds then i get an unusable signal message if i change my input to just cable it works fine please help
It sounds as if there might be a problem with your TV set .
I would suggest that if you have another source that you can connect the audio signal from the Direct TV Box to such as a receiver or amplifier. Connect the RCA cable to one of these
units and see if the problem persist, if not then you know it's
a problem in the audio ckt. in your TV set.
Simply enter 00000 for the zip code and complete the set up process; if you're in Canada, select the USA as your country and use the zip. However, you MUST complete the set up, including allowing the TV to search for appropriate code. In the long scheme of things, location and codes don't really matter because you won't see the GUIDE again.
