Question about Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I am pretty sure this is a thermal problem with one of the components on the PCB but I am not sure if it can be fixed or not. Dell does not want to deal with it because I bought it from a 3rd party who removed the Dell ID tag.
What do you think?
This might be related to your system power options, if your monitor turns off after sometime (20 mins in this case) the best way to find out if this is caused due to a thermal reason - is to see if the monitor can work immediately after it turns off (coz, for thermal shutdowns it needs time to cool down before it works again)
