Generally this should'nt happen. You must be sure of password you would have assigned and perhaps fail to remember it now. If the system is shared then chances are there that it would be tampered. well try this:
1: go to bios and find it from there.
2: ultimately if nothing can be done than format it

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a main Password set on the labtop and i cant reset it without the password. How can i reset it?

Dear Friend,
If you are referring to the Bios Password, removed the battery and push down the power button for about 30 to 60 seconds to reset it (this apply to major brands). If it does not work, you might have to open apart and removed the bios battery for about 5 seconds.
Now, if you are referring to the Windows Password, there are many software that can help you to achieved this (Google it). Normally, in Windows XP you press down the following key combination: Crtl + Alt and press the Del button twice (during log on screen) this will bring the Log on to Windows screen where Username can be try as Administrator with no password, allowing you to get inside and change your password.
Good Luck!!!

Want to remove windows administrator pass word

Usually, there are very 2 easy ways to reset Windows password after it is forgotten.

One is: use another administrative user on the Windows computer to change or remove the already forgotten Windows password.

And the other way to reset password Windows: use a previously created password reset disk. Some people may still not know how to create such a disk.

Below are the detailed tutorials:

Been reset to factory settings and need the password

You don't say what password you want. If it's windows password, in some versions of windows you can start the computer in safe mode by holding down the F8 key when starting the pc until it beeps. You can then log in as administrator without using any password and go to control panel to change the password. Failing this go to http://www.windows-password-recovery.net/password-recovery.php and download the windows password recovery program. Stellar Phoenix Password Recovery. It costs 49 dollars or 36 euros. It allows you to create a boot disc which you use to start the computer and displays all user passwords without entering windows and allows you to delete which ones you want so you can then shut down and restart without the boot disc and not need a password.
