Question about Sony Handycam DCR-SR300 Camcorder
When I take on "POWER":
viewfinder display not function
or picture starts blink and fades.
Camcorder took off himself and objective folds do not close.
This things appear or disappear when I displacement viewfinder in any directions.
I suddenly had similar problems with my SR300. I replaced the flat ribbon cable (looks orange) between the body and the LCD display and camera works like new. The ribbon cable is subject to cracking the internal wires where it flexes when you open and close the LCD display. There was also a new part number for the cable so I suspect it is a known problem.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
