The TV remote should have a source button on it, you need to press it and find the scart socket or hdmi connection, it should display a list of the connection that are use for your TV. Some times you can use the power on on the DVD, so have your TV on then switch on the DVD and this may change the TV to the input that you have the DVD connected to automatic-lay. If you are using a TV arial for the DVD to connect to the TV then you need to tune the TV to the channel the TV is using I think in most cases it is channel 21 on the TV.

Should I hook it up(dvd) to back of tv or the front of tv, and if so, is there a switch over button for dvd to normal tv watching. TV is hooked up to Direct tv and plays fine. But can't get dvd to play on tv, I've tryed channels 2, 3, and 4. But no picture. Again is there a switch over button or auxiliary button or ???
Your help and consideration, concerning this problem will be greatly appreciated by my grandson and myself. Thanks
