Re: help me bout my xp
This problem you are facing is due to virus / spyware attack from the net .. due to this some system files which are needed for the successful operation have got corrupted or missing from the registry .. (may be the virus / spyware might have got removed by the antivirus but the system files are missing from the registry)
first install a good updated antivirus and scan your whole system and remove the viruses and then you can give repair from your XP boot cd ...
this will solve the problem easily..
you can just have a check to confirm that the virus is attacked or not ..
check for these options like folder options, screen saver & desktop tab in properties, task manager, registry editor ..
if any of this options are missing means it is confirm that your system is attacked with virus /spyware and it has removed some files from the registry so you are missing some of these options ..
thank you bye any doubts you can reply me i am always here to assist you please rate my solution have a nice day

If you can not open attached documents it might be because programs are missing on your computer.
As an example:
for a file xxx.PDF you need a PDF reader installed eg. Adobe Reader.
Can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
Download Adobe Reader and install it and you can read PDF files.
If the document is a Microsoft Office document you nee the whole Microsoft Office Package - but this package is not free - must by it.
As an alternative to the Microsoft program you can use Open Office.
Can be found here: www.openoffice.org
This program is compatible to Microsoft Office and it is free to use.
Everything in that folder is a user profile. some are system profiles like "all users", "default user", "Network Service" All the other profiles should be user profiles. In each user profile there is a my documents or a user's documents folder.
You should check there to see if you can find your files.
Vista is a wonderful new OS that has volume shadow copying, what that does is it saves versioning information. IE: I create a new document and every day I go through and add to or edit the document, oh darn, on day 3 of that document I made a mistake and I need to go back to that version of the document. Thanks to volume shadow copying this is possible, unfortunately when the shadow is created is unknown so it is at this time that the documents would be made unavailable while they are being archived. It never happened in XP because XP didn't have this capability, but then again if you needed a version of a particular file, you were SOL weren't you?
