How to remove the engine from the torque convertor on a Ford 345C Skip Loader?

When removing an engine from any automatic box the best tip is to remove the bolts holding the torque converter to the flex plate/flywheel and leave the torque converter in position on the shaft in the front of the box. It will move back to the box enough to separate the engine . Turn the engine around to get to each bolt. If the transmission is going to be unsupported then restrain the torque converter with a plate bolted through a flange hole or a strap across the front a note here is that what you call a skip loader may be known as a skid steer loader in which case there will be no torque converter as it hooks directly to a hydraulic pump via a splined shaft.

How to lock drum for moving

all machines come with installed Transit bolts, these are removed before the machine is used, and should be kept in case you need to move the machine later on. The transit bolts lock the drum to prevent movement whilst moving the machine. If you do not have these, I would suggest looking for some. However I have moved a machine without the bolts in and as long as you are reasonably careful there should be no problems.

Asko w6444 front loader drum vibrating quite loudly. Feet are level. Any suggestions.

Check the 3 transit bolts on the backside of the machine. Should be removed. Could also be a problem with the balancing spring on the top of the drum, so the drum tilts a bit forward, and cause noise

HOW DO I INSTALL THE DWCLD 1421 - NO INSTRUCTIONS LEFT WITH MACHINE. ARE THERE ANY TRANSIT BOLTS?

Hi,
If this is a front loader the quick answer is that you should be able to see whether there are any transit bolts by taking the top off. The whole drum structure, possibly with large lumps of concrete attached, should be free to move.
If not, which is likely, the fixings should be visible.
Sorry- I don't know for top loaders!

I manage a Moving Company and was wondering if all front loading washing machines require shipping bolts to be installed prior to shipping, or just certain brands?

Hi just read your posting. In my experience with front loaders they all have transit bolts .The reason being is that the internal bowl and tank are separated from the outside frame by suspension rods and, or springs. The easiest way to tell on most front loaders is to look for the holes in the back of the frame of the machine where the bolts attach the frame to the tank .Hope this helps and good luck.

New Simpson Top loader washer very noisy/rocking

sounds like you havent undone the transit bolts- theyre on the back of the machine, 2,3 4 maybe five quite large obvious bolts, around the drum but on the back. they are to keep the drum steady while in transit to stop the machine bouncing around in the van - you are unlikely to have damaged it - Undo these bolts - they should be mentioned in the manual-

Can a washing machine travel on its side. I want to pick one up and take it home in my car will i be able to do this

If its a front loader you may damage the suspension or break somthing else inside, you can fit transit bolts to them.if its a top loader you can lay it down just take care.but it is better to stand all machines upright if possible.
