Component connection doesnt work on rca 32v550t

the ports seem fine. The component connections work in 480i, but as soon as i switch to 480p or 720p, all i get is mostly black screen with white diagonal lines for 3 secs, after that displays "unusable signal".

Wouldn't be surprised the connections are defective from what ive seen on the net, pretty crappy tv is how most people described it.

Some RCAs were sent through the assmbley line too fast and some of the grounds were not soldered properly.Carefully check the plug-in ports to see if they are loose. You will probably need to take it to a repair man.

Component to HDMI Converter Problem

Does the TV have a plug connection I think is called DVI. There is a DVI to HDMI adapter that also needs an audio connection on TV to work. Other option is audio and video rca cables. You may also need to change input connection to correct source, as it may not be auto for connection

The tuner in RCA is a known issue. I recommend connecting the satellite with RGB (Red-Green-Blue) component cables and red/white sound cables and use video. The picture will be better. The tuner repair can be pricey $$$

We have a RCA Model 32V550T TV. It just all of sudden decided not to come on. You can press the button on top, nothing, the same with to remote. It did this one other time, but it came on. I have tried...

Try to unplug the tv for 30 min. then try to see if it works. If not, there is a fuse in the tv. take off the back cover and replace it. If it blows again, take it to a repair shop. If the fuse is good, you will still need to take it to a repair shop.

The component connections are usually video only and the audio goes to separate connectors set aside for that input. Check your manual to make sure you have all the connections made.
