- I've got blue screen with red lock symbol apearing on the top left corner.
There is no button on the remote indicates child control or something.- leongen444

- Blue screen with red lock, same as other. One answer was remove the lock by going to menu using the remote and child lock. The remote doesn't work which is the same problem as the other user. Please if anyone knows how to remove this your response would be greatly appreciated.- Guest

This worked on my S &v Tv holding the display button down for 10 seconds...Thanx Kiddamage...Been without that TV for months

to unlock the parental control on a Telefunken TV that has a blue screen and a red padlock on the top left hand side, hold down the display button on the remote for 10 seconds and it works

you can unlock your tv.. by removing it thru remote control..look for the childlock on the remote.,by pressing the menu...
