I had granite installed in my kitchen. Great job. However I needed brackets installed under the granite bar (to support it) which hung over about 10''. They really botched the bracket job. They cut very uneven slits in the wood for the brackets and even angled the brackets crooked before gluing them to the granite and screwing them into the wall. Looks terrible. The owner of the company was unwilling to fix it (I just wanted these guys out of my house). Had I been there, this would not have happened. Anyway, my question is: is there a way to safely remove the brackets from the granite (dissolve the epoxy etc?) so I can have a good carpenter re-install them properly. Thank you.
