My minidisc player does not charge. I have replaced the (presumably dead) NH10WM battery I have had for 4 years with a NH14WM battery. When in the cradle, it only charges for 30-45 mins before cutting out and I have to reconnect it, in order for another 30 mins or so to be charged. If I press the "cancel/charge (stop) button to restart the charge after it cuts out, I only get a few seconds and have to allow it to "cool down" before I start recharging again. I am aware a new battery may need 14 hours charging before it can be used. I cannot use it having given it 3-4 hrs of charging. Many thanks indeed
