I am looking for a new washer. What is the best one to buy that will last a lifetime. I have had a neptune that failed and now a cabrio that has failed. these appliances are expensive and I have to pay for my water so I would like something that helps conserve and do a large load of clothes. My Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 will not turn on, no lights are coming on when it's plugged in. The fuse in the plug is fine, the plug socket is fine. I have tried turning the machine on with the door open, and with the door closed. :-) Any ideas what might be causing the machine to remain lifeless?
