I have 2 step children in their 20's. Hubby and I met when we decided to marry, his children told him they should have asked him 1st. Yes, "asked". Hubby has done all for his son and daughter, 60-70 person parties...just because they wanted. Catered to their every wim. He even has told his kids, off at college, as they return home, he doesnt want to be alone with the dog as they go as they please, as he would continue to cater to them. He wants a life. Son woke up and saw the light, but still has issues with me as s-d has had issues with me from day 1 stating "i am daddy's girl" at 20 years of age. She stormed out of the room crying saying this. She has stolen from me, things that i have inherited, when she says she will b at school, she sneeks in the house in the middle of the night to steal, only my things. Don't know how much longer I can stay with this. Of course hubby has problems confonting her b-cause she is his princess as she stated... frustrated here. Any ideas? After last confrontation, i did say things I shouldnt have, yet said things that needed to b said as well. she said she wouldnt return to the home. she didnt go to her gfathers b-day yesterday, but did stop in on thanksgiving. no bf in the pic, g-father has addmitted he feels she is gealous of our relationship as I am also smaller in size than her. All around party girl... will just say too much of everything to where it has made an impact on our new family as well as hubby and ex had to have a meeting over it. all around sad situation. any help or advice. going back in time - when i married her father, she ruled the wedding, upset that we were marrying then happy as I had her planned to b my maid of honor. last minute sis in law stepped in knowing what a mess i was getting into. since then, family members care alot about our relationship as it has been strained due to sd. have thought of div but people say dont let her win and hubby will be very unhappy as he is now, it will b worse. thing is, he wont put foot down to daughter and her actions. any advice???
