I just bought an RCU403 for $7.99 at Radio Shack. I want to use it on a Panasonic TV that is about 11 years old. The instructions for use on the RCU403 talk about a "three" digit code; however, the code list provided with the remote contains four (4) digit codes. The listed codes are 0055 and 0250. Also, the remote unit does not seem to want to accept the three digit codes that I found on the Internet. When coded with 0055, nothing happens. Code 0250 causes the remote to change channels, nute and volume, but nothing else (no ON/OFF, channel back, etc.). I have found about 20 - 30 four digit Panasonic codes on the Internet; none work (except the partial results from 0250). I have tried the automatic scan; no help (it cycles for a period of time, flashes four times and the light goes out); I have manually clicked ON/OFF until my wrist hurts. Question: What is the correct four digit Panasonic code? Thank you.
