Good luck to all of you have these terrible tv's. Please leave comments on this site so we will all know the outcome on this fire hazard tv, whether it will be recalled, money refunded or?

I called the number and a customer service representative told me to call their authorized dealer to repair the tv, at my own expense, because the warranty for the tvs has expired. Unfortunately, I bought two of these fire hazard tvs. I will be contacting my state's consumer protection office. Maybe, a class action should be initiated. There is no reason we should pay thousands of dollars for a defective product. Mine were manufactured in September and October 2004, respectively. I have a Sony that has lasted for more 15 years, without any problem. American manufacturers are not making it any easier for American consumers to continue patronizing their products. I know who will get my business for replacement tvs-Sony or Samsung. Why repair a fire hazard?

Did you get a complete refund of this product, or did they just 'replace' the item?
