How to Sync your iPod Nano 5th generation without iTunes

While you can enhance your 5G iPod Nano, you're not a fan of iTunes. Fortunately, many companies offer free web-based software that lets you sync an iPod without the Apple Software. If you are looking for software compatible with 5G iPod Nano, you can use CopyTrans, FloolaDesktop or MediaMonkey. Each program allows you to easily synchronize your music collection from your computer to iPod. Depending on the program you choose, you may be able to sync music from your iPod to your computer.

Using CopyTrans

1. Download and install CopyTrans. When installation is complete, the program will open automatically.

2. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable. CopyTrans import files from your iPod to your program and a list of your music and videos are shown on the screen.

3. Click the "add tracks to playlist" icon on the toolbar to add other media files in the program. Navigate through your folders and select the files you want to import.

4. Select the songs you want to sync with iPod.

5. Click the "Update" icon on the toolbar to your files synchronized.

Using FloolaDesktop

1. Download and install FloolaDesktop. Open the program when installation is complete.

2. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable. After connecting your iPod, Floola will automatically synchronize files from your iPod to the program.

3. Click the "Item" and select the tab "Add to Library" option for additional songs, videos, podcasts, or import into the program. Select the songs you want to import and click the Add button. After importing your files to Floola, the program will automatically synchronize the files to your iPod.

Using MediaMonkey

1. Download and install MediaMonkey. Start the program when installation is complete. You will be prompted for your music and media files to import.

2. Select any folder you want to import and click "OK". Media files in each of the selected folders will be added to your MediaMonkey library.

3. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB device.

4. Click the "Library" option in the navigation pane on the left of the screen. A list of your files is displayed on the screen.

5. Select any music, video, podcast or playlist you want to synchronize with the iPod and then click the "Send to Handheld" button, which is indicated by an iPod icon. MediaMonkey synchronize the selected files to your iPod.

How can i unlock my ipod 5g

to unlock the ipod you have to remember the password that is set. Unless it is a ipod that has a slide switch on the top or side. If you do not remember the password that is not a problem. Follow the steps that i have outlined below. If this does not completely help your situation please let me know and i will be glad to assist you. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: 1 If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage
its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data." If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.
