How do I set my iPod touch to tell me how long it will be Recharge?

The iPod Touch, a portable media player from Apple, has an internal battery that will eventually run out of power while you reload. According to Apple, the iPod touch offers up to 40 hours of audio playback or up to seven hours of video playback when fully charged. The machine takes about two hours to recharge to 80 percent capacity, and about four hours to fully charge. Although the iPod Touch does not have an innate ability to tell you how long it will take to charge the battery today, you can create a free application that will give you an approximate time to load.

Preparation

1. Press the "Home" button below the touch screen of your iPod Touch.

2. Touch the "App Store" icon on the home screen.

3. Tap "Search" and enter a search term such as "Battery" and then "Search". Tap the name of an application results from the battery, such as "Battery Free HD", "Magic Battery" or "sense of battery Philips Consumer Lifestyle." Tap the word "free" next to the name of the application of the battery, and tap "Install. Tap your Apple ID at the prompt to download and install the application from the battery.

Battery Free HD

1. Press the "Home" button of your iPod Touch.

2. Touch the "Battery Free HD" icon on the home screen app to start it. A battery icon appears with the current level, and details about the estimated time to play music, videos and surf the Internet.

3. Touch the screen with your finger and drag it upwards to scroll to the "Time to Charge" song to reveal.

Battery Magic

1. Press the "Home" button of your iPod Touch.

2. Touch the "Magic Battery" icon on the home screen app to start it. A battery icon appears in a window below the current time available for various activities, such as "Play Game", "3D Game" and "Wi-Fi."

3. Touch the screen with your finger and drag to scroll the window until you see "loading time" with a number of how long it takes to load your iPod Touch.

Sense of the battery, Philips Consumer Lifestyle

1. Press the "Home" button of your iPod Touch.

2. Touch the "sense of the battery, Philips Consumer Lifestyle app icon on home screen to start it. The battery now appears as a percentage, with a grid above options for the different activities you can do with your iPod touch as" Audio playback "," Video Playback 'and' waiting time. "

3. Tap the "Time Charge" of the network. The amount of time it takes to fully charge your iPod Touch will show up under the grill.

How to Unlock an Apple iTouch

Although locking your iPod Touch prevents accidental touch commands, the feature also prevents you from accessing your media and applications while the device is locked, according to the Apple site. The lock code is the 4-digit code that was created when the passcode lock was first enabled, and displays a passcode menu prompt on the iPod Touch's screen when the "Home" or "Power" button is pressed and the unlock bar is slid across the screen.

Instructions
1 Push the "Home" button on the iPod Touch's screen, or push the "Power" button on top of the device to show the home screen.
2 Slide your finger on the iPod Touch's unlock bar.
3 Enter the 4-digit passcode using the on-screen keypad to unlock the device. If you cannot remember the passcode, plug the dock-connector cable into the iPod Touch and plug the other end into your computer's USB port. According to Apple, the iPod Touch will automatically unlock after it is connected to your computer.

my ipod touch turned off and there is only an apple on it and i cant even turn on itunes on the computer.

Do a hard rest. Hold both the home and power buttons for 20 seconds.
If it won't boot do another hard and leave turned off. Open iTunes on your computer and THEN plug the iPod in. If all goes according to plan the iPod will power on and enter "recovery" mode.
