bleached hair roots turned white the rest is orange

You cannot lighten "color" with "color". If you had to, and only had one color, you could possibly put color on the ends first, wait 10 mins and then apply to roots (which is difficult to do on your own hair) Virgin (uncolored hair) lightens MUCH faster than colored hair. alot of times the colored parts of the hair will never get as light as the roots, without using a differant product. This is why people go to salons :) Anyway, first try Matrix shampoo called "So Silver" (this will tone the hair. Its purple color neutralizes the orange. Most likely though, the color you used was a darker level of color than what your ends were and since you cannot lighten color with color, you get brassy orange. Go to sally's beauty supply, pick up some hair bleach, 20 vol. developer. mix together equal parts. wet your hair, lather with shampoo/conditioner mixture, and smush bleach mixture ONLY to your orange ends (NOT YOUR ROOTS)watch your strands fade from orange to light pale blonde and rinse as soon as it hits desired level (only takes a few minutes) Hope this helps.

hello! i used the bright yellow prizm during my highlits and they became bright yellow! i tought it would give like a gold tone to the highlights but they were super yellow. so i applied bleach to my hair and now is orange with extra light gold highlits because my base color changed because of the bleach. how can i fix my hair? i left the bleach to process a long time because it didnt seem to change the bright yellow color. help!

ok honey, first thing is don't freak, you will be ok. the only way to fix this is to go darker. with out a picture I'm going to do my best to help you. See if you can get a friend to help you do this. You will need to put the hi-lites in foils, try to get as much of the blond and as little of the orange as possible in the foil, coat with conditioner, and fold. this will keep them blond as I assume you want to keep them. Between the foils you will need to use a 5 or 6 ash based color, this will neutralize the orange color you have now. Use 10 vol developer or even 5 vol if your hair is in bad shape.leave on about 10 to 15 mins, rinse off a piece to check color progression, when it's a neutral brown you will need to rinse. I wouldn't leave it on more than 30 mins or you could end up ashy.

How do you care for wavy hair?

I have wavy hair i know how you feel. Never go to bed with wet hair you will wake up with a big frizzy wave poof ball of hair. Straighten your hair when dry in layers.
When you have wavy or curly hair what you need to do is comb when wet and then straighten your hair after it drys. try to get flatning shampoo, brush your hair with a comb to get out all tangles and do your best with your wavy hair by straightning it alot.
