Troubleshoot Dell Bluetooth that does not work

According to the official website of the Bluetooth wireless technology is used to transfer data over short distances through the use of radio broadcasts shortwave and mobile devices to send. Dell Bluetooth adapters are compact, wireless devices used for keyboards, mice, printers and communication headset to connect. Sometimes no sign of the adapter to be read as the adapter in wrong mode in Windows 7, XP or Vista operating system. Dell suggested the installation of a utility that will re-configure the wireless adapter mode if the Bluetooth does not work.


1. Insert the Bluetooth adapter on your electronic device or computer.


2. Go to the site of Dell's technical support for the utility to install your adapter mode will change. In "Support Tools", select "Hardware" and select "Bluetooth Devices" in "a problem" (or see link in Resources below). Under-350 Bluetooth, click the download link to start the installation.


3. When the download box appears, choose "Save File". In the Save As window, again select "Save." Check the box next to "Close this dialog" with the installation.


4. The installation is complete, select "Run Program". Follow the instructions on the screen can.


5. Avoid close all boxes when the program runs automatically. The utility will begin to reconfigure the device from the Bluetooth adapter. Restart the computer when the program is completed.


6. Try using the Bluetooth device. If operational problems occur, contact a Dell Support representative for assistance.

Bluetooth is a proprietary open wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances (using short length radio waves) from fixed and mobile devices like between two phones or b/w phone and your laptop.
