Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

How do I automatically start Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a wireless connection method used for two different devices together, like a computer, cell phone, headset or sync. You are required to enter code synchronization when connecting two devices, but most likely you do not want to enter this information each time you want to sync the hardware. Instead, you can automatically start the Bluetooth devices in sync with each other.

1. Turn on the Bluetooth device (such as a headset) and the hardware you want to synchronize with the equipment (such as your computer or mobile phone).

2. Click the "Start" button when using a computer, select "Control Panel" and finally "Hardware and Sound". Select "Bluetooth Devices" and click "Add" and wait for the computer to search for Bluetooth devices. Press "Setup" when using a mobile phone, select "Bluetooth" and activate the configuration. This allows the phone to search for the Bluetooth device.

3. Select the Bluetooth device, once it is detected (both computers and mobile phones) and enter your pair of four-digit code (listed in the user manual of Bluetooth device).

4. Press "OK" on your computer or mobile phone connects to Bluetooth. Now each time the devices are enabled on the phone and the computer automatically detect and connect to Bluetooth devices.

how do i sync my phone with the h700

Hi, Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset is a basic Blutooth headset that can be synced, or paired, with any Bluetooth-capable cell phone. Something unique about this phone is its retractable microphone, otherwise known as the headset's "boom." You can send and receive phone calls hands-free and wirelessly with your contacts using your H700 headset, in one touch of a button.

instructions

Press and hold the "Call" button on the headset for four to five seconds until the LED light glows purple.

Flip open the headset "boom."

Set your phone into "discovery" or "pairing" mode. Open the Bluetooth settings or options on your phone and choose to add a new device.

Select the "H700" on the phone when it finishes searching for Bluetooth devices.

Enter the passkey for the headset, which is "0000," to finish syncing the headset with your phone.

And your done..

Hope it helped.

how can I connect jabra bluetooth to my cell phone

Generally speaking, bluetooth connects like this:
1:Turn on the bluetooth device (phone).
2: set phone to search for the bluetooth headset.
3: Turn on the headset
4: when it finds the headset (you may need to try TWICE), enter 0000 to the phone as a basic password. The two should link.
Your headset guide may specify a different password - use that.
The headset may require you to hold down a button to help the search - do what the manual says.

need to know how to sync bluetooth device to current cell phone

to setup your bluetooth you will need to go to the phone settings, look for anything that deals with connectivity, once you find it you will see the bluetooth option, click ON then you will need to scroll down till you see search for devices. Turn on the bluetooth devise before searching for devices. The cell will automatically search, once it finds the devise it will ask or show all the devices in the area, look for your equipment, pair it and Voila!! Hope this was helpful

Good Luck =)

can't get blue tooth to connect to phone

The generic passkey is four zeros: 0000

Generally, to "pair" your blue tooth headset with your cell phone, make sure your headset is charged up. THen on your phone find the set up to add a bluetooth device. Don't add it yet.

Now on the headset, press and hold the on/off button--it is usually on the top of the device. Hold it until the light comes on--it should flash or have a different color. If that doesn't work, trying holding down the on/off button and the "+" or up volume button at the same time.

Once you have the light or flashing light on the headset, go to the phone and select to add a new device. THe phone will search for the headset. If it finds it, it will ask for the passkey. Type in four zeros - that is: 0000.

Hope this helps you to pair your bluetooth wireless headset with your phone.
