There are two basic types of IP addresses of internet
service providers (ISPs) to provide customers with Internet services: a dynamic
address or DHCP and a static IP address. A static IP, as the name implies, uses
the exact same IP, and you're online all the time. The DHCP IP configuration
uses a "stack" of available IP addresses each time a modem is online
and an IP address of the network of the ISPs is simply grabs the first
available IP address from the stack. The IP configuration of DHCP, then it is
