On my apple ipod it says Disk mode, how do I get out of this


Try Resetting your iPod. Hold down the MENU and SELECT (centre) buttons for five or ten seconds until you see the Apple logo appear.

i switched my nano on and it has come on wth 'Disk mode' and it has never done this before


To turn iPod Disk mode off:
  1. Toggle the hold switch on and off
  2. Press and Hold the Select and the Menu button for more than ten seconds
  3. The normal selection screen should appear, your iPod is out of Disk mode.

it is frozen i plugged it into my computer and it still dont work

Frozen Ipod Nano


  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Set it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  3. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears.
  4. Connect it to your computer.
  5. In iTunes, select Restore to Restore the iPod firmware. This erase everything on the iPod.
