Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

Cydia first load

Firstly
when cydia initializes the update continues after you
prompted to select a "user profile". There are three patterns to choose:
user (very basic), Hacker (command line), or for developers (filters are not either). This feature allows you to hide the packages the most advanced of us would never use.

Next on the list is the ability to hide entire categories. It's great when you want to hide more technical packages.

Finally
He is the editor of new sources. It's a bit like the installer, except
that's apt sources for Cydia. With this you can add your own
sources as they become available.

I have a cect n97c and i can't seem to get the settings correct in the the phone to be able to send and receive mms. I've called t-mobile 20 times and they finally told me that i needed to contact the manufacturer. I've tried over the air software updates, they didn't have any cect phone updates. they also had me change the mms settings a ton of different times. i have a data plan which i don't think i even need. it works, the sms works as well, However the MMS doesn't send or recieve. it recieves messages but is unable to download, and when sending an mms it says message failed.
