Tip & How-To about Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate for PC

How to access god mode in Windows 7

A simple but amazing option that was added to Windows 7 is god mode. God mode gives the user a central point to to manage all of the computers settings. The following steps will detail how you can create a God mode desktop option.

1) Create a new folder on your desktop and rename the folder to" God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}"

You can do this by right clicking on the desktop, then select New , then select Folder.

Once the folder is created, right click on it and select rename.

2) The folder will be created with a default control panel icon. If you double click on the icon, you will notice all of the settings you can view and change. This gives a central point for computer management.

It has been reported that this icon may crash computers, however, I have used it since Windows 7 was released and with no problems.

I hope this article was informative.

my e machine monitor falls asleep after 30 seconds of no activity I don't want it to please help

Click on the start orb > click control panel > click power options > in the upper left column click on "choose when to turn off the display" In the drop down box choose how long you want to have the display on and the computer to sleep. Make sure to click on "save changes" before exiting.
For future reference install "God Mode" on your desktop. God mode is a super control panel that tells you how to make just about any changes you want on Vista or Windows 7. The instructions are here:http://www.techspot.com/guides/236-windows-god-mode/
