hello Fixya.have a rfrigeretor Vestel (made in turkey). the terminal box (conected to the compressor) have been damage. need to know how to reconect again the wires to the plugs on the terminal. i'm an elctrician but don't have an experience in refrigertors. model-am475ws/ts circuit diagram no.50023443.

The terminals of the compressor could have burnt and so depending on how the connections are damaged the points could be soldered or connected.
First of all clean the terminals properly , use a emery paper to clean the existng terminal part or the wires to the motor. Now use good wires to solder and connect to a ceramic terminal to which the wiring can be given.
make sure that the connections are insulated before the fridge is powered.
Tip:
Use good cleaning solution to wipe all dirt. Buy ceramic connection strip from any electrical store if the terminals are damaged.
Use a good soldering iron to connect the wires to the terminal.
The wires to the motor must be then connected to the terminal strip and strapped using a wire tie.

I had several wires under the hood of my 95 Grand Cherokee Limited chewed in two by varmints. How do I rewire them properly? There are about 14 of them that are the same shade of green! I connected most of them and the Jeep seemed to do ok at first, but the computer would blink. Also, the battery was overcharging - which got worse. It is a good vehicle except for this one serious, yet minor, problem. I looked for a harness on ebay, but don't see anything that fits. thanks!

Your only options are replacing the harness or repairing it by cutting out the damaged sections of wire, and (using **** connectors and heat shrink tubing) replacing it with proper gauge wiring. However if you can't tell which wires should be connected to which, the best thing to do would be to take the truck to a reputable mechanic. DO NOT guess which wires go where or you will end up with damaged electrical components and may damage the trucks computer. The amount of money you spend getting the wires fixed by a professional will be FAR less than repairing the damage from wiring the truck wrong. Hope this helps, good luck.

Have acer aspire 3690 - power socket is detached from board and some of the connecting tracks directly to the socket are damaged/missing - Have replacement socket but at a loss with regards to connecting points on board

Use epoxy glue to fasten the socket to the board. I assume that you have a proper soldering iron (small grounded tip, not a soldering gun), and know how to use it. After the epoxy has cured, trace the damaged tracks back to another solder connection, then solder an insulated (about #24 or #26) wire to that point and to the appropriate connection on the power jack. There should be a maximum of three wires to install. If you make the proper connections, it should work as before. Good luck!

my front USB port do not detect nothing.so i use the back USB port of the CPU.my collegue has complained that his pendrive has been damage by the front USB port.is this true?

This is only true if the wires connecting the front USB port to the motherboard are connected incorrectly. There are 2 pairs of wires for each connector: one for the +5V & -5V (power) & the other one for the signal itself. If those are not connected properly, the power connectors could be connected to the signal, in which case if a device is connected to the port it will get damaged.

To connect those connectors properly, you have to refer back to your motherboard's manual.
