Tip & How-To about Cameras
This happens quite often, someone accidentally drops their camera, mobile phone or whatever electrical device in water.
Always worth trying, but can't guarantee the outcome, some times it works ok, sometimes it doesn't but, it doesn't make anything worse either.
First and most important thing to do is take the batteries out. Straight away as soon as physically possible.
ie;- out of the water , out come the batteries, out come any memory cards.
With luck you've saved it, now open any cover or slots that you can and pour out any water that will come.
Dry it off and take it home then put it in a warm dry place for a few days some where like an airing cupboard or above (not on) a radiator.
Give it time to dry out thoroughly, if there's any mist on the screens, its not ready, then put the batteries back in and give it a go.....................good luck
