Tip & How-To about Evenflo Embrace

Tightly fastening a car seat into your vehicle!

I always put the clip on the seat belt a little shy of being able to fasten it in! Once you have the clip on their I put all my weight on the car seat ( both knees and leaning toward the back of the seat) and then clip the latch together! I always seem to be able to make it so much tighter that way!

fastening seat belts is not always the answer as some sensors need weight to cancel the light after the seatbelt is fastened. best have it checked out by an auto electrician as the seats may have been changed and the wiring not properly connected.

The sensors which fit below the passenger seat are missing. I want to know the name of these sensors.

seat belt sensor or air bag sensor, some cars measure weight in the seat on the passenger side and if it is below a certain amount it disables the passenger air bag, a safety for little kids, other sensor for seat belts, if there is any weight and no seat belt is fastened it will turn the seat belt warning light on in the dash.

Put your seat belt on. If there is too much weight on the passenger seat, fasten the passenger seat belt as well.

cant get it to be tight in the car install. Tried with the belt installation and with the clip installation with and without base. What is wrong with this

With car seats, you literally have to put your weight on top and get the belt as tight as possible because of the seat cushion. If you put enough weight on it, shoulder or belt strap will both work with this method.

how to install Evenflo Aura carseat into my vehicle properly

do you have the instructions?? if not goto ww.evenflo.com to get them they give you step by step directions on how to install your car seat! If you have a problem with the base not being tight and floping all over then try rolling a towel tightly and putting in the dip of your seat and then fastening the base down, I usually put to towel down then put the clip on the seat belt a little short of being able to fasten it in, so then I can put all my weight on the base and clip the latch in! It just makes it so much easier and a lot tighter then it would have been in the first place
