Tip & How-To about Microsoft Office Word 2007 Full Version Corporate License for PC (059-05468)

Copying Text into a new Document

Whenever the need arises to copy an entire document or a section of text, clicking CTRL+A (or selecting the section) and pressing CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste, often ends with a corrupt document or problematic one. The simple solution for the issue is to select the relevant text and click the Left Arrow button once while the text is selected. NOTE: the last character selected is usually a character return mark. This simple trick makes sure the last character return is not copied.
It works. Icom1

You might try COPY/PASTE:
CLIPBOARD
A virtual, temporary storage area. Information (in the form of text, files, graphics, sound or video) can be copied to the Clipboard from one program or location and pasted elsewhere. The Clipboard can only hold one block of information at a time. Whenever something is copied to the Clipboard, it replaces whatever was there before. There are many platforms which support the Clipboard function.

COPY TO CLIPBOARD
Point mouse cursor to beginning point in text to be copied. Press and hold the "ctrl" key on the keyboard and click mouse. Entire section of text will be highlighted in blue. [NOTE: If only a portion of what you wish to copy is highlighted, then move mouse cursor to end of text, press and hold the "shift" key and click mouse]. Right click mouse and select "copy" from the menu window that opens.

PASTING FROM CLIPBOARD
Open the window you wish to place the copy (e-mail, FB profile page--status box, etc), click where you wish to place copy, then right click and select "paste" from the menu window that opens. NOTE: Edit as you would normally typed text.

[shortcut paste: press and hold ctrl key and press letter "V"].

Select what you want by clicking and draging over the webpage. Once you have highlighted what you want, press the CTRL+C keys to copy the selection to the clipboard. Open a word document and paste by pressing CTRL+V. Word will try to keep the formatting and download the pictures from the internet as they appeared on the webpage.
