3 head lights dim 1normal on dim or bright

I would say you have a bad ground wire. Im not sure about this car but most have a black ground wire fasten to the top of the fender or inside of the inner finder near the battery, Remove the wire and clean the metal and the wire connector with a wire brush, making sure the metal is shiny.
tighten securely and check your lights. Be sure you dont have a black wire going to each light, if so check each one.
I hope these suggestions help you find your problem.

Have 1995 Mercury Sable Ls. The car will not start. When turning the key I get nothing no clicking noise lights dim. We tried to jump the car off with jumper cables and it still does not start. Checked fuses all good. Replaced Battery still won't start. Any suggestions

Check all wires running to battery. Check the battery ground(black) cable for sure. Make sure it is getting a good ground. If necessary unbolt the ground and clean up with a wire brush or wheel.

left read stop/blinker light bulb does not work. Left front blinks fast. I insatlled a new bulb and the problem persists

Almost all problems like yours are caused by a faulty ground at the socket. Check the left rear socket for corrosion, clean it with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper if necessary, and make sure that the ground wire running from the socket to the chassis is clean and intact. The fast flash at the front is just to let you know that the rear is not working.

how to clean ground wire

If the ground wire is dirty at the battery use a mixture of baking soda and water. Pour some of the mixture on the battery cable ends and let it soak for a few moments then rinse off with plain water. If corrosion is really bad use some kind of brush to clean it up with (old toothbrushes work great). Do not get any of the battery corrosion in your eyes as it will burn. Then when clean spread a thin film of grease on the ends. This will keep them from corroding. If you need to clean the ground cable where it attaches to the frame or engine, remove the cable and use a wire brush or install a new cable.
