It couldn't be easier to update iTunes, just choose "Check for
Updates" under the iTunes menu on a Mac, or from the iTunes Help menu on
a PC. This checks both your iTunes software and your iPod software for

To check just for iPod software updates, connect your iPod to your computer, launch iTunes, and choose the iPod in the Source pane.
