Clear an F4 error message

Error F4 is caused by a loss of voltage on the printhead!
The printhead must be replaced, and it costs alot, also is so difficult to change, so much as some printer technicians don't accept to repair them.
Sorry, but you need a new printer

If you buy genuine ink cartridges take an EPSON printer
If you prefer to buy compatible ink cartridges look for a Canon ;)

My Brother MFC 7420 frequently jams. How can I prevent this problem? Renee

Try to perform maintenance.

Go to 'Start' menu
Select 'Printers & Faxes'
Right click on your printer (MFC)

Select properties.

Here you may see a list of tabs that will perform maintenance. One in particular that I am hoping is listed is the option to clean the rollers (what keeps the paper feeding smoothly).

Good luck and sorry for the speculations. I do not own or have personal experience with this printer, however, most printers (especially newer models) have these features that can help clear up these types of issues.
