I just bought a HP presario laptop with free dos operating system.it uses windows but doesnt have microsoft operating system.I cant download skype. What can I do?

If an application is not available for your operating system, you have two options. One is to look for a compatible application from another source (if one is available). The other option is to switch operating systems. If you want to avoid buying a copy of Windows, install a distribution of Linux. Skype is available for Linux, and programs like WINE can let you run many Windows applications. You also have software like OpenOffice available. Ubuntu is a very popular Linux distribution. Installation is simple and it looks and acts a lot like Windows so it's easy to adjust to using it.

genuine windows validation caurse download probles cannot update mt computer wmp 9 cannot play personnel dvd need to bye pass or reome this genuine lalidation from my pc i cannot afford requested purchase need free windows validation.

You will need to purchase the windows xp validation code(if it is still available) If not you also have the option of using a free operating system that is not linked to Microsoft and most of the applications are free to download .I use Ubunbtu (it is a Linux derivative supported by hundreds of open source programmers) and have done for about 4 years now it is a great operating system and easy to use has most drivers pre-installed for most printers and scanners etc and you can down load hundreds of free application's music players etc it comes with open office and Mozila firefox pre-installed .Go to http://www.ubuntulinux.org/ there is no need to run anti virus programs and you don't need to do defrags and other routine maintenance that takes valuable time on Microsoft platforms. I am running an old AMD 1800 procesor with 512 mgs of ram my system boots in under 19 seconds and shuts dow in under 4 seconds
I hope this helps
