i have the hp psc 1410v but the only installation disc i got for it works for windows 98 me 2000 and xp my computer is a windows 7 i need help finding the installation program for it


Hi gotenco1t, to "Update the Driver / Software!"
First: "Turn-off the 'Printer'
"Go to this "Website!"
Fill-in necessary information.
ie: Model #, Brand, and or Operating System...

"Select the [Drivers] you need from the "List."

"Download the Drivers!"

Next, "Turn-on the 'Printer."

If the "Drivers updated the printer; then it should be 'recognized, by the computer!"

"You can: {Check the Printer}.

Click on the -> Start Button -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Printer

"Or" -> Start Button -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager -> Printer

Right, click to open the "Properties."

Go to www.hp.com/support and then search for scan diagnostic utility. Use the utility to diagnose what's the exact problem with your scanning. It have a button for fix. you could use the utility to solve your problem. If there is no option for the printer when you are finish downloading the scan diagnostic utility then you need to uninstall the software for hp solution center, hp imaging device and hp photosmart driver in the add/remove programs. Then reinstall the software using the downloaded software in hp website and make sure that it is the full feature
