Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Are you protected? do you get a message saying "scanning system for infected files"?

Very often you may receive a pop up screen from your so called "antivirus"saying that its scanning your computer but 100% of the time that itself is a virus so always have an active antivirus and be careful for "scams" there are a lot of so called antiviruses out there that add viruses rather than removing them so if you do not have an antivirus then here is a personal favorite of mine works great hassle free and wont empty your pockets so take a look -----------> :)
also if you fear that you may already be infected by malware spyware fake antivirus and its causing your computer to run slow well this next program is another personal favorite no infection can escape from this program and it wont break the bank -------------> :D
i hope my tips help out

How do I reboot my laptop I had scanned it with norton Antivirus and nothing was found but something keeps popping up on my screen saying my computer is infected.

Your system is infected by malware which is not detected by Norton antivirus. You can download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software from below link:-

Install it, update it and perform a scan. Hopefully, your problem will be solved.

how to install avast antivirus

Go to the Avast Antivirus homepage (www.avira.com). Once it is loaded, go to the "Desktop Solutions" tab at the top of the page.

Go to the left on the next page and click on Home Edition. You will then be brought to a page where you can either download the software directly or register. Click on the register tab.

Enter your email address, your name and confirm that you are only using the program for personal use. Click the Submit button and wait for an email. Leave this window open.

Once you receive your registration key, go back to the registration/download page and click on Download. When the pop-up window opens, make sure to save the binary file to your desktop.

Run the setup program that you just downloaded and confirm all of your information. When prompted, make sure you select the typical configuration, unless you are comfortable customizing antivirus software.

Once the installation has finished, restart your computer. After your computer boots back up, open Avast and insert the registration key that you received in your email.

Set your antivirus auto-scan. I find it is best to pick a weekly time when you know your computer will be on but you won't be doing anything important. After you set other preferences, you'll be done and Avast will take care of your computer's protection all by itself.

Best regards.

If you have Vista, try running Windows Defender within Vista. If that does not work, Spysweeper will get it.
