download drivers

Ummm, no such thing.......

Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device

BIOS: Basic Input/Output System program

When you press the Power On button, the plastic assembly of the Power On button; presses against the Power On switch located inside it.

The Soft Power On circuit is activated.
This 'excites' the Power Supply, and turns it on.

The first chipset to receive power is the BIOS chipset.
The Basic Input/Output System program is initialized.

BIOS looks to see what devices are installed, does a Ram Memory count, turns the CPU (Processor) on; and hands the computer over to the Operating System.

To perform ANYTHING with BIOS in the respect you are stating, you would be performing a BIOS update.

The BIOS program in modern personal computers, no longer uses BIOS drivers.
"Older types of OS would use the BIOS to access hardware on the computer, but most new versions now access hardware directly through drivers built into the OS."

(OS = Operating System)

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-bios-drivers.htm

(Sometimes people just have to see another tech state this, just to make them feel comfortable about it, IMHO)

Know this;
IF, the power goes out when you are performing a BIOS update, your computer turns into an expensive doorstop.

IF, the BIOS update is not compatible with your computer, your computer turns into an expensive doorstop.

IF, you do NOT save the original BIOS program, and the above happens, your computer turns into an expensive doorstop.

Now,..........why is it you wish to fool with your BIOS program?

how can i get to command prompt in dos through bios?

Sorry but basically you cant access command propmt through the bios. The command prompt is part of the operating system of the pc, either as DOS (disk operating system) or part of windows.
The BIOS (Basic Input output system) which is on a rom(read only memory) chip on the mother board, and initiates post(power on self test) when the computer starts, without the bios the computer would not boot up at all. To access the command prompt you must have a operating system installed, ie Windows. hope this helps.

what is bios?what bios is cmos

BIOS =Basic Imput Output System. CMOS is the onboard chip that stores the info for the BIOS.

CMOS chips pass information to the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) when the computer is turned on (called bootup). CMOS stores information such as boot order (the order the computer looks for information, such as A drive first, C drive second, and so on), real-time system clock, calendar settings, hardware passwords, hard drive configuration settings, and the installed memory (RAM). Essentially the CMOS chip stores data for the BIOS so that a computer can boot up properly.
