FREEZING CONDITIONS IN ARIZONA MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO UNSUSPECTING POOL OWNERS

February 3rd, 2011 - Peoria, Arizona

With the inevitable freezing conditions about to sweep Arizona, unaware homeowners may feel the financial impact of these colder conditions.

"Arizona pool owners are prepared for excessive heat, heavy monsoon rains, and extreme wind with ownership of their swimming pool, but what they are not prepared for can cost them," said Brian Morris, of WeFixUglyPools.com . "Taking minor precautionary steps during colder temperatures will save a lot of aggravation, and money."

The National Weather Service has issued freeze warnings for Maricopa County that will remain in effect from 11 PM this evening until 10 AM Thursday morning.

Potential damages to swimming pools include: underground pipe breakages, filter cracking, damage to salt systems, pool pumps, and valves, and potential flooding of backyards due to the damages.

"I have actually witnessed running fountains freezing today, and that is something that I have never before witnessed," continues Brian. "To believe that it will be this cold is cause for concern because most people just do not know how to prepare for this kind of weather."

"It's important that people be made aware of these hazards," Phoenix Resident Angela Clipper noted. "There could really be some serious damages."

We Fix Ugly Pools has also been experiencing even colder weather at its locations in Dallas / Fort Worth, with more than 150 calls flooding their office between 8 - 9 AM this morning. Rolling blackouts in the DFW area has caused additional damage to pool equipment that was being operated accordingly to the weather. With the 30-45 minute blackouts, pool equipment damage became inevitable. The financial impact to homeowners there is already in the thousands of dollars and it is expected to have an even greater impact in the Phoenix and Tucson areas as most homeowners are just not aware of how to handle this kind of weather.

panasonic colour tv TX-29P150X (Made in Malysia)

sounds like you have a intermittant thermal condition and this could be the regulator IC the video jungle/sweep Ic. Anything in the switching poewer supply or sweep curcuit. This is a hard one unless your there with a meter and a schematic to measure voltages when the set goes out then you can use a can of freez sprasy to lightly spray on the supected part. Sorry i cant be of more help. Good Luck
