I bought three advent verona laptops for my children for Christmas 2010. In 8 months we had to replace the power supply cables 3 times on all machines. All of the laptops went back to PC world for over a month at one point to check one or more did not have a problem which was effecting the cables. As the cables were shared as one by one they did not work any more. Now the warrentee has run out and we are left with one working cable. I know they are reasonable cheap to purchase but I do not want to have to continually replace the cables which seem to last only a month or two.

I would recommend purchasing a universal laptop charger or adapter, they cost a little more and they should be better quality and last longer.

here is a great charger that works with almost any laptop out there, it is rated 120W and should have more than enough power for the machine - having larger capacity it should last much longer.

the manufacturer probably uses the cheatest possible charger for the machine this will probably have the power of two such adapters.
