FOR USB USE:
Download Driver
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-matrix.pl?upd_id=1452

Install then download and install a video program like movavi videosuite or ulead videostudio (i personally recommend movavi).

Plug in the camcorder and switch it on, put it on play/edit and play the video, press record or capture in the software and let it record!

once the video scene in the camera is done, stop the recording and do what you wish!

i succeeded to capture the movie (with movavi program) but there is no sound/

how do i capture a movie with sound???

If you're in Europe go to: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/SONY/Camcorder/page6.html

Make selection of software according to your PC operating system.
Don't know if by updating USB drivers will help your problem or not...
