Tip & How-To about Cameras

Zeikos audio tip

Do NOT expect good audio from the Zeikos Digital Camcorder. I tried and it crackles.
If anyone has a troubleshooting tip I'd be delighted to hear it.

The audio output section circuit should be troubleshooted. The most possible cause is with its audio output IC itself. Check for any loose solder terminals to this section.

Tape will not load; Error code 31:23

You may try the following troubleshooting steps:
Remove the battery of the Camcorder for one minute and re-insert the battery to check whether it works.
You may try resetting the Camcorder by pressing the RESET button located on it.
You may also check whether the issue occurs for all the tapes.
If the issue occurs with all the Tapes then it seems that internal parts of the Camcorder are malfunctioning.
Hence, the Camcorder requires service.

First, need to narrow down the problem. Did you perhaps change the input source? To this point, change the input source, there should be text on screen that indicates what source is selected.....do you see this? Change the volume....do you see the volume level bar on the screen?
