How to open a drive in case of an emergency

If the power goes or the drive refuse power up then follow this simple step to open it

1.) locate a small hole in the frount of the drive its about the size of a pen nib.
2.) straighter out a paper clip
3.) insert the paper clip into the hole and push hard
4.) the drive will pop open, pull the draw out
5.) remove the disk
6.) push the draw back in firmly until its fully closed

The small hole is located just under the disc tray eighter to the left or the right of the drive,, ITS there all drives have them

Thank you Darklord. The buzz my drive was making was driving me crazy for the last month. I couldn't figure out how to open. Thanks again.

If there is a pin hole in my drive, I can't find it. I have Samsung ts-h552b dvd+-rw dual layer burner that will not open or close like it should and now when I try to burn a dvd it starts running & will not shut off. I have to restart my computer to get the disk out. This is the 2nd drive I've had to do this. Emachines replaced my first drive because the pc was only 6 months old, but now it's out of warranty and it's doing the same thing! I believe these drives are defective.
