BlackBerry - Synchronize data between mobile and computer

  1. Firstly you need to connect you blackberry device to you computer
  2. Then open BlackBerry Desktop Manager manual, if it didn't open automatically when device was connected to computer
  3. Then when the application is up look for synchronize and click it
  4. After which you will select the check box beside one or more action
  5. Then click synchronize

Hi, you need the desktop manager, and you need to download the current software version for that device, its going to wipe everything out on the device, but you will get the device to work. after you download the the software, you need to run it on your PC, and then use the APP loader on the desktop manager to install it to the device.

Step #1 Before starting make sure that BlackBerry Desktop Software is installed on the computer.
Step#2 Make sure that you have installed updated device software installed in your PC.
Step#3 Users can perform a full or selective backup of the data using the Backup and Restore tool in BlackBerry Desktop Manager by completing the following steps: Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer running BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Double-click Backup and Restore. Select Backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to perform a backup of specific databases. Choose a location to save the backup file, then click Save.
Step#4 To perform a clean install of the BlackBerry Device Software, perform the following steps: Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. This error occurs because all of the data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone have been deleted.
The BlackBerry Device Software must be reloaded on to the BlackBerry smartphone.

To reload the BlackBerry Device Software you need the complete the following steps:
Before proceeding, make sure that the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software is installed on the desktop computer by completing the following steps:
To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 to 5.0, perform the following steps:

  1. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Select About Desktop Manager.
  4. Click the Device Software tab.
  5. Verify that the BlackBerry Device Software displayed is the latest version currently available from the wireless service provider.
