Lenovo 3000 J 115 desktop running 32bit, XP, SP3. Is infected with phony "MS Remove Tool" spy/malware, which has taken over most operations. Can't back up any files to CD--computer tells me there is no writable disk. I have internet access but is very balky. I have tried running several spyware removal tools but none will run--virus has installed its own icon in notification area with bubble stating that file you are trying to open (names the file) "is infected." Window keeps popping up, inviting me to run "MS Remove Tool"--same page I have seen on several sites and absolutely identified as malware. Tried getting into Safe Mode, but ignores it and boots up anyway, even after holding down or hitting continuously the F8 key. Tried both a number of times. Also tried running spyware programs from CD but won't run either--same story. I am using a laptop to communicate with you.

I suggest we scan your computer in Safe Mode with Networking. Please tap F8 button as soon as you turn the computer ON( I mean when you press the power button), then a list of available options will show up, please use the arrow keys on the keyboard to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Then push Enter. Once you access Safe Mode with Networking. Please go to this link: http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=42782&t=4&i=1
Download and install that software then scan the computer. After running a full scan, it will ask you to reboot the computer. Just let it boot up, no need to tap f8 this time, you will be booted to your normal windows. That should fix it
Hope this helps.

Fake solve pc issue in windows 7 telling me to turn on security center; this virus has gained access into my world of warcraft account and does not allow me to go to websites by clicking them in google.

Restart the computer in safe mode with networking ie. restart the computer and keep tapping the F8 key on your key board and then choose safe mode with networking and once when the computer boots up you will have only microsoft programmes enabled on the computer install a free anti virus programmes like malawarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and run the scan and it removes the viruses and then once when the virus are removed just restart your computer and that should take care of the problem.

how fix virus

if the virus problem is not yet affecting your computer, please download trojan remover or install malwarebytes. you can download malwarebytes from filehippo.com, or just click here http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
however if you are not permitted to do such things, restart the computer in safe mode with networking. shut down your computer completely, after a few seconds turn it back on. as soon as you hit the power button, continuosly tap the F8 key on your keyboard till it shows you the advanced boot configuration utility. select safe mode with networking and it will load your windows with reduced programs, virususually can not run from safe mode. then run the malwarebytes to scan your computer..
hope that helps..
