China has a ban on youtube thanks to the governments censorship laws. Best way to get around this would be to use http tunneling or try find a proxy in the US or anywhere else in the world that your can direct your traffic through. I don't live in China so I really don't know if you'll be able to search for these things while there...

I am in China and trying to open my Hotmail Email account. It opens on to a different format than the normal one. The Emails are there but when I click on them they do not open. What am I to do. Is the Chinese government fiddling with Email accounts of late?

Chinese government is restricting the web access to many sites (internet censorship).use UltraSurf software to browse the net without any problem .its an Proxy software that will bypass the restriction .
