There is another method to lock the computer screen. By this method we can create a shortcut for locking the computer screen in Windows 7, and also for Window XP and Vista too.
Follow steps in order to create a shortcut for locking the computer screen in Windows 7 as well as other editions:
Right-click on the computer desktop where you would like to create the shortcut.
Click on New.
Now click on Shortcut.
Type the file name or click on browse for choose the file for this textbox. This text will also use for Windows XP as well other windows.
Select >rundll32.exe> user32.dll, LockWorkStation.
Click on the Next button.
Type the name of file for your shortcut.
Click on the Finish button.
By this method you can successfully create a shortcut to lock your workstation screen. Just click on the shortcut your computer screen will lock whenever you want.
