Tips to transfer DVR (Digital Video Recorder) recordings to your Computer

A DVR stores video digitally on an internal memory source. You can move your videos to the main memory system from the DVR.

1. First insert the software installation disc into your disk drive. Choose an installation destination for the software when you are wants to and accept the terms and conditions. And wait for the installation to complete.

2. Now connect one end of the USB cable to the back of the converter and connect computer on other end.

3. Then plug the second cable which came with the converter into the video output port on your DVR and to the other jack on the converter. This cable is the analog cable and is able to carry video out of the DVR while keeping the image and sound.

4. Now open the converter software that you installed and leave it open while you set up the transfer.

5. Then choose the DVR recording which you want to transfer and start playing it from the DVR controls.

6. Finally select the "record" button on the open software on your computer. Let the recording run through and it will record as it plays.

I have a Kodak Z730 camera and need to move photos mistakenly stored on my internal drive. How can I move them to my computer or sd card? My manual does not address this.

Set the camera's image storage location to internal memory, then select Copy>> from the playback menu.

It's in the "Copying pictures and videos" section under "Reviewing pictures and videos" in the manual.
