To create application for your
own iPod, you have to register for an Apple Developer connection account and need
to download application building software onto your operating system. For this use
Apple's X-code Tools software to create and download an application that can be
approved and downloaded for all versions of iPhone and iPod.
These are some steps that
will provide the way to create such application for iPod:
First: Sign up for an ADC (Apple
Developer Connection) account of the iPhone Development Center
website. These accounts are available free.
Second: Now download and
install the X-code programs, which also available at the iPhone development center
website, onto your operating system. But it is only available for Mac computers
at this time.
Third: Now create an X-code
project. When you open X-code it will automatically create a document for you.
Fourth: Then go to the
"File" menu and choose "Save as" command to give documents
name and save the program to your hard disk drive.
Fifth: Now open
"Interface Builder" module and create your design. Interface builder
works like as graphics programs.
Sixth: Now start a new
document by clicking on "File" menu and select "New" for
each of your application. then add your application code as you build your

application documents regularly to save any changes of your project.
