My son had his wii turned on and was getting another remote out of his guitar which was by the power cable after he got it the console quit working and we can't get it to turn on

Power off your Wii and unplug everything connected to it including SD cards in the front door, or USB devices. Plug in the power and video cables only and see it your Wii powers on (make sure you unplug these first). If it turns on then plug in the necessary devices such as the sensor bar and Game Cube and try again, and then try with any other items that you have like a usb drive or memory cards. I had this problem when I had a USB camera plugged in.

My lg tv (had since Nov) says no signal for the tv or dvd player. How do I fix this?

Try unplugging all inputs and the power cord from the TV for 5 minutes. This will allow the main board to reset.
Next, just plug in the power plug to the TV, power up the TV, and even though there is not a source connected to the TV, check at least three inputs and see what the TV will report on the screen for each input.
Next, turn off the TV, plug in all known working devices (Cable/Antenna, DVD, Blu-Ray, Cable/Satellite box, Game, ….) with a known working cables to the TV, make sure all the devices connected to the TV are powered up and on, and now power on the TV.
Now check to see if the TV is seeing valid signal for all the inputs connected to the TV.
If your TV cannot see any signal at any of its inputs (HDMI1, HMDI2, HDMI3, AVI1, AVI2, Component1, ……), then the main board has failed and need to be replaced.
Good Luck.

when i turn tv on it adamaticly turns off and red light turns on

Try a power drain first:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so that the device is not grounded to the house.  Do not simply turn off the power-bar if one is in use.
2. Press and hold in the products power button for 1 minute to release the retained electricity from the capacitors and circuit board.3. Plug the product back into the wall outlet rather than a power-bar to rule it out of contributing to the problem and turn the device back on.
If this still doesn't help, you probably have a power supply or mainboard issue preventing the TV from fully powering on.

My 42"LG 50 TV will not turn on

One important step to see if you are having an internal problem is to perform a power drain.

1. Unplug the product's power cable so that the device is not grounded to the house. Do not simply turn off the power-bar if one is in use.
2. Press and hold in the products power button for 1 minute to release the retained electricity from the capacitors and circuit board. 3. Plug the product back into the wall outlet rather than a power-bar to rule it out of contributing to the problem and turn the device back on.
If this does not work but you are still seeing a LED lit up, there is probably a problem between the TV's power supply and the mainboard and service maybe required.

mf210 brother printr.scanner

TRY THIS FIRST!!!! it is the easiest and works everytime for me. Just unplugg it. I read somewhere, probably here, to do this. Actually pull the power plug out, not just turn off. I also took out the connnection plug to the computer for extra measues. Wait a few minutes then plug everything back in and turn on. It is like a computer rebooting. The printer will reinitalize itself and do a systems check. All the cartridges were recognized and the inkloads were correct. Had the same problem when I change the Black. Unplugged everything, and then perfect. I really like this multi function printer. it is the best for the money, cartridges are individual and cheaper then others. So if I need to just unplug every now and then not a big deal.

oh, I have always only used Brother cartridges, so I do not think it is cartridge problem. Before doing the tape just try this first. Wish I would have known about this solution with my previous one which obviously I threw away and did not have to.
